A child with an insatiable wanderlust, a hard head and a gentle soul. 

Sen is our main character, our narrator and a bitter, hollow shell of a man reminiscing over the mistakes and horrors of his life leading up to and including the coming of Lenore.

Jamison (Jami) Talmadge

Solider, philanderer, baby thief.

A Scotsman who ran afoul of an ill tempered fey back in 1194. He spent 2oo years as a fierce hunting goat, only to be given back his humanity with a few oddball additions. 

Parrin Connelly

An 'uncle' who is easily coerced into questionable activities, indulges in questionable fashion and is an all around jerk of a man.

Elias Strallstrom

A trouble maker, a trickster and loyal to the very end.

A changeling, found by Jami during the crusades, somewhere in Turkey. The two saved each other's lives many times during the war and became fast friends. He agreed to be parted from Jami (for the first time in almost 5oo years) in favor of staying to keep an eye on Sen.
